Bar and Events Staff
• Moving, setting up and assembling venue furniture
• Dressing and setting tables to a high standard
• Serving drinks and snacks behind the bar
• Tray and table service during drinks receptions and sit down meals
• Preparation and serving of arrival, table and toast drinks
• Representing Left Bank to visitors, clients and suppliers by providing excellent customer service
• Assisting packing away furniture, cleaning and closing down the venue
• Ensuring health and safety requirements are observed and risk assessments adhered to
• On shift cleaning and restocking
• Assist in keeping the bar, front-of-house and toilets clean and tidy, at all times
• Washing glasses
• Cash handling / using a till
• Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
PERSON SPECIFICATION (Required skills and experience)
ESSENTIAL
• An understanding of the Left Bank ethos
• Evidence of being able to deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Demonstrate experience of serving and presenting beverages, quickly and efficiently
• Pleasant and professional attitude with customers
• Ability to remain calm and respond proactively to unexpected events
• Ability to Carry out instructions given by the managers
• Experience of working in weddings, and/or busy, formal events
• Flexible and reliable with an eye for detail
• Good numerical skills and experience of cash handling
• Smart and presentable
• Physically fit
